I am half way through a water treatment but my nitrate has gone up what do i do?

nitrates at 250 are at a lethal level, so i myself would do a water change. its not worth treating the fish if they all going to drop dead from poor water quality anyway. id do a 20% treatment today. leave it a few days then re-test. once the retest came back safe, then i would carry on with the medication. but i guess thats just me. im not sure what the "proper" method of approach would be here

Any suggestions on how I can change handedness?

When I was a child, I was forced to change from left to right handedness. I've read that according to psychology, you can never change your handedness or which brain hemisphere is dominant. And that forcing the less dominant side for most tasks will "overburden" the corpus callosum. I'm wondering if switching back to my "true" dominant hand is a worthwhile goal (my left arm is still weirdly stronger, but not as great at precision). Obviously practice is key to switching back. But I'm wondering if anyone has had this experience or any insight. Thanks.

Should I quit Cheer Leading?

So I was in little kids cheer leading for about 4 years and REALLY liked it,and was really good at it. But I am now going to go into 8th grade and they had try-outs now I was like what the heck so I tried out. I made Mascot. Yeah... At first I really wanted to be mascot that's why I tried out. Now when I heard that's what I got I cried my eyes out. Then we went to our first meeting. I was over it by then and they said. Hey we think it would be more fair if you all switched being mascot... And I was like umm.. Ok... So now I'm a cheer leader and I suck at it. I'm not like I was when I was little. Now I forget the cheers,I'm Slow on the movements,Don't Smile,and just don't get it. Today was the first day of cheer camp. We had to do lots of cheers and etc... I messed up quite a bit. And our coaches kept looking at me... I know they think I suck and they point out all my flaws in front of everyone even tho I am not the only one that messes up. I would rather keep counts for everyone and be like a manager.. Not a cheerleader. Do you think I should wait to quit or what.....

At the very beginning you ask questions that begin with the word 'Or' and I suggest that you link these to the previous sentence e.g. "Can you hear the quiet babbling water or the soft whispers of the wind?" As a prologue it is very long but the writing is very good and I would make no changes to it at all except possibly to the term "They did a spell" find another word for 'did' such as 'cast.'. I would however suggest that you print it off and read it out loud or get someone to read it to you and you will hear for yourself whether you think that changes should be made. Good luck with your writing.

I really lived this. The description was amazing. I would only say that the Reference to the old man with crutches be left out. I believe that it is a beautiful Reference but a younger audience (10-20ish) might have the description ruined in their mind and try to imagine old people with canes. I really like the story so far though, You make me want to buy the book already.

about four years ago i was caught moving a newly purchased car from one garage to another. I was 16 with my permit at the time. I was issued 3 tickets for improper use of plates, no registration, and no insurance. In NY driving without insurance has a mandatory policy of a one year license suspension. i never paid the tickets(being young and dumb) and my license is still suspended due to unpaid tickets(they total over $1,000). My question to you is if i pay my tickets off will my license be reinstated or will I have to wait a year after the tickets are paid? One lawyer told me yes, another told me no...help me out.

i have had chronic vertigo for 5 years, i am 28, and it just came on suddenly when i was 23. i have seen every doc imaginable, including holistic meds and chiropractors. i have learned through all of this that it is highly important to stress wether i am dizzy or lightheaded. I am definantely lightheaded, like when you stand up too fast, yes my blood pressure was checked when standing up and down and that was fine. Baby spit up?

I have a 6 month old baby girl and she has always been a 'puker'. She spits up so much and so often that I have to carry a receiving blanket at all times. She is healthy and a good weight so there is no problem there. The thing is, I am going to start her on solid foods right away and I am worried. I really can't see her growing out of this anytime soon so I feel like I have to get ready for a new phase of projectile spit up, mashed peas and carrots and so forth. She even spits up in her sleep and still chokes on it even now at 6 months. Sometimes she even wakes herself up choking on it. It was a whole lot worse when she was younger so she has progressed a little bit, she doesn't choke nearly as often as before (it used to be a few times daily) but she still pukes up A LOT. Sometimes when I put her down for a nap she fusses and fusses and then finally pukes up a mive amount and then falls asleep. She's on formula but it was the same with milk for the first 3 months

I would say something to them. If my mom ever said "you have to be smart to be a doctor." I would be so mad at her because parents are supposed to support you and push you to do things that you want to do. Car amp install help.?

ok so i got a 250w sony xplod amp and really old mtx terminator 10 in subs but i have to turn it up really loud and my front speakers start to crackle yet i turn the subs on and off and there is no difference, i did notice the power light on the amp is "dim" compared to the hook up in my room( and yes there is audio comming from the subs). i did not remove the paint on the chase for the ground plus i dont think its exactly on the main chase either. will complete grounding change anything?

Well it will definitely require much less energy, so yes you are right. The atmosphere part is certainly true. The main total reason is that the escape velocity is much lower on the moon than on earth. My girlfriend dropped a bomb on me last week when watchiing the television show 16 and pregnant and she told me "if any of my kids have children and can;t take care of them I wouls adopt them" - I didn;t say anything but internally I had a meltdown, I am 45 years old and supposed ot be enjoying life. On top of this my girlfriends 16 year old daughters friend had a baby she abandoned and the baby has been living at my home for the past 8 months. Essentially I am supporting my girlfriend (although in her benefit she has a small income of about 2000 per month). My life as I dream of it involves a small condo with a gust bedroom for the kids to visit. today I have 3 kids living with me that dropped out of school several years ago and contribute zero to the family bills and on top of that an infant baby. My girlfriend is a saint for taking in this baby. I give her credit but I was never once asked my opinion nor permission to have this baby live with us. There's alot ,ore to this story and there are 3 sides to every story as we all know. But I;m ready to pull the plug and just leave them all due to thier lack of consideration and respect. Also they have 3 dogs that have pretty much turned my house into a place that smeels like urine and feces 24/7. We live in a beautiful home but there are an average of 2-4 friends sleeping over every night without my permission and half the time without my knowledge. The younger child is 17 years old and hasn' attended school for 3 years and also has never worked a day in here life. After the situation today I said we should have a family meeting and my girlfriend told me in some other word she would simply move out. 2 hours later she is kissing me telling me she loves me, I tell her we still have to address the problems I mentioned above and was told be her that he has too much on her mind and didn't have the time to discuss. Slow early stages of labour pains?

I will be 36 weeks tomorrow with baby number 3 and i'm experiencing the same thing, i never had a natural labour with my first 2 as i was induced and the contractions were strong from the word go. It could be the start of a slow labour although my midwife told me yesterday that because this is my third, the pains could be because the ligaments are stretched out already and there isn't as much support there for baby anymore hens the pain. I would keep an eye on it hun and hope that it is labour. My sister-in-law had contractions on and off for about 2 weeks till they realised that she had a urine infection that was causing them. I really don't know what to say hun, you've been through it all before and you know what people are going to say, just have to try a bath or shower or walk around for a while and see if anything develops. Keep him in the 7th grade I'd say. With his friends and around people his age. He will learn the more challenging things to learn in school in time. His intelligence isn't going anywhere. I agree with some others that it's more important that he learns to socialize at this point and be around kids his age. He already has the smarts. If you're not saved, He'll hear your prayer for salvation, but none until then. We need to thank God everyday for all He's given us. That doesn't mean our lives will be great, cause they won't. Why? Cause even though our sins are forgiven when we ask Him into our lives, we're STILL sinners and we still live on this sinful earth and therefore we have to deal with sad/horrible things at times. Help with worcester combi boiler?

I have a worcester 240 combi boiler it's about 12 yr old. Every so often the pressure drops and i have to top up the water level i have a valve under sink that lets water through, i tried to top it up today the valve was open for ages but the needle didnt move it's at 1 1/2 bar and the hot water upstairs is at a dribble and my shower indicates low pressure. If it was low pressure surley the needle would be lower than 1 1/2 bar and turning the valve on should make water level higher--help please

So I have these two bestfriends. let's just call them A and L. So last year, the three of us got this guy's email from the U.S. (we live in Canada, I'm not gonna say how we got it, its a long story), we didnt know him. The guy is a huge liar but whenever a girl talks to him, he always sweet talks her and then lures them to his "trap". Now I'm starting to think he's an old pervert doing this everyday on the internet. Just today, I was talking to L about her day and she suddenly brought up the fact that she just talked to him on skype again. I got mad because I hated him ALOT now, when I look back at what I have done, I get very ashamed of myself for talking to that pervert. I asked her if she fell for his tricks again and she told me their convo and how she said they liked eachother again. (as friends, that's what she told me). I have learned a valuable lesson to not be so naive on the internet but my friends have all fell for him again. It's probably gunna bring up more drama. You and your husband should be more concerned with making sure this new life is taken care of properly. The nephew is at an age where he should be taking responsibility for his actions. Yes, he does need to have a "mother figure" to help guide him. But you're role as a "mother" to your own child tops that. He's old enough to know better and to be more respectful. Be supportive when you can and maintain your distance when it hits the fan. I'd suggest making that move after the baby is a few months old unless things have straightened out or the nephew has flown the coop by then. As far as your father goes, it's pretty much the same advice. Take care of yourself and the baby first. If he needs more help than what you can offer then you should do him a solid and find someone who can help you do the job.

I'm just curious as to how this may work/ seem possible. It's quite difficult for me to explain this. okay first i live in florida. i use good salon shampoos and after i take a shower i use the chi silk infusion. when i straighten my hair i use the Nano Titanium by Babyliss pro. and i will be straight but after im outside for 5 minutes it starts getting frizzy and wavy. it stays pretty straight if its nice and cold but thats it. do you recomend a different straightener or anything. i just want my hair to stay straght and no frizzy so bad haha. my natural hair is wavy and a couple nches past the shoulders oh and i have a few layers

okay, so i have to look for an apartment off-campus. Friend A is on the wait-list to be an RA. So I decided to room with Friend B. Now Friend A has been begging me to room with her, and saying that she won't take the RA position even if she gets it. So I already posted a question about something similar to this but...I was thinking about trying the Super Dooper Looper (only has 1 loop) but in the comments for it it said that it goes kinda slow so u can feel it more.
