Work question, what should my husband do?

last friday at my husbands work they recieved a letter stating that some people our going to be fired in whole company. theres 7 places he works for a medical supply that delvers oxygen. well today the head bosses came in, they first wanted to talk to a guy that does all the delveries that guy was fired, then they fires a recepionist thats been there before my husband. well my husband got back from delvering medical stuff they talked to him and want him to run the whole place. they didn't even mention a raise. they kept him bec the girl made more money than him. they said the company in midland will be doing the delveries, but he has to run everything and do all the paper work and all the customeres and give supplies to people when the come in. The girl said before they hired my husband she would be at work after hours and come in early just to finish the paper. My husband wants to quite hes not sure if he get unemployment just until he finds a job. His chest is hurting ,his stress.
