My parents are meann!?

I would say something to them. If my mom ever said "you have to be smart to be a doctor." I would be so mad at her because parents are supposed to support you and push you to do things that you want to do. Just say something to them like "Mom, Dad, when you say those things, even if you are joking, they bother me. They make me think that you don't believe in me." Or something like that. They'll understand and hopefully stop. If they don't, remind them again.
