Which Aussie Rules teams are playing in the GF & how come we don't know anything about them or the players?

In Sydney, they are a complete 'non event', no joke we just don't know ANY of them, the only AFL Players I would recognise, along with dare I say it about 4,000,000 other Sydney siders would be that little druggie from West Coast & Barry Hall, and also that Aboriginal Swans player, but thats all.....why do you think that is?
