Do you think Hillary went to the right too early and that will cost her the election?

She has always been a liberal but in the Senate she has tried to be more conservative in order to be more attractive to moderates in preparation for her Presidential bid. Do you think she jumped the gun and should have maintained her true liberal beliefs until after she secured the nomination? It appears that the Democrats are making her pay a severe price for her betrayal of their extreme left wing dogma.
